KEEP MANDENI CLEAN CAMPAIGN TAKES CENTRE STAGE

In a bid to revitalize Mandeni CBD and to strengthen relations with those operating within the town precinct, Mandeni Local Municipality led by His Worship the Mayor Cllr. TP Mdlalose rolled out the ‘Keep Mandeni Clean’ campaign on 14 February 2020.

ARTS IMBIZO YIELDS POSITIVE ENGAGEMENTS

On 08 February 2020, Mandeni Local Municipality in partnership with the Department of Arts & Culture held a fruitful Arts Imbizo event. Scores of budding musicians gathered at Isithebe Hall to learn from industry experts such as Thokozani 'Tzozo' Zulu, Sandy B and Noma Khumalo (Idols SA) to mention a few.

MANDENI HOSTS ‘KNOW YOUR CDW CAMPAIGN’

Mandeni Local Municipality's Sibusisiwe Hall was awash with green of Community Development Workers (CDWs) on 01 February 2020 during the launch of ‘Know Your CDW Campaign’ which was spearheaded by KwaZulu-Natal Cogta.

MANDENI HOSTS MATRIC EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Mandeni Local Municipality held a successful Matric Excellence Awards ceremony on 29 January 2020 at Sibusisiwe Hall. This event was aimed at honoring the class of 2019 matriculants and schools who produced quality results.

Elderly people of ages between 70-89 from all wards under Mandeni Local Municipality were treated to a day of good food and good music at Manqakaza Hall during the Christmas Party for Elderly on 16 December 2019.

  4. Load shedding will begin with the declaration from Eskom. If you are scheduled from 16:00 to 18:30, but loadshedding is declared at 17h00, you will only be load shed from 17h00 to 18h30.
  5. If you are scheduled on a lower stage and a higher stage is declared, then your current time slot will be included in the higher stage
