Mandeni Mayor supports the call to end the Abuse of Women and Children

For the 16th year, South Africa is taking part in the global 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign, which runs from 25 November to 10 December 2017.

With the theme “Count me in: Together moving a non-violent South Africa forward”, the Mandeni Municipality is adding its support to the global action to end the abuse of women and children and creating new safer communities that are free from violence in all forms.

Mayor Zulu is calling on the entire community, especially men to take charge and make a stand to committing themselves to fight against the abuse of our women and children. We must all work together in creating a thriving society which treats its women and children with the dignity and respect every human deserves to live by.

Let us all fight and bring those who are responsible for hurting and shaming our women and children to justice.
